Palm & Peach is operated by Peach Tree Ventures LLC ("Palm & Peach", "we", "us" or "our").

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods available through our website and how payments, charges and refunds are handled.

1. Currency

All prices displayed on the Palm & Peach website are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP / £) unless clearly stated otherwise.

All transactions with Palm & Peach are processed in GBP.

The total amount payable for your order will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Any mandatory taxes, standard delivery charges or other mandatory charges payable as part of your purchase will be included or otherwise clearly disclosed before you place your order, as required by applicable law.

Standard delivery is free unless clearly stated otherwise before checkout.

You will not be charged additional mandatory fees by Palm & Peach after completing checkout unless you subsequently request and agree to an additional service.

2. Payment Methods

The payment methods available for your order will be displayed at checkout.

Available methods may vary depending on your device, browser or other circumstances.

Payment methods may include:

  • Visa;

  • Mastercard;

  • American Express;

  • Apple Pay;

  • Google Pay;

  • Shop Pay;

  • PayPal; and

  • other payment methods displayed at checkout.

We may add, remove or change available payment methods from time to time.

3. Credit and Debit Cards

We accept major credit and debit cards displayed as available at checkout.

When paying by card, you may be asked to provide information including:

  • your card number;

  • card expiry date;

  • card security code;

  • name;

  • billing address; and

  • other information required by the payment provider.

Your card issuer or payment provider may require additional verification or authentication before approving your payment.

This may include security measures such as 3D Secure or other identity-verification methods.

4. Apple Pay and Google Pay

Where supported by your device and available at checkout, you may use Apple Pay or Google Pay to complete your purchase.

You will be asked to authenticate the payment using the security method associated with your device or digital wallet, which may include:

  • Face ID;

  • Touch ID;

  • fingerprint authentication;

  • a device passcode; or

  • another supported authentication method.

Apple Pay and Google Pay are provided by third parties and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies and eligibility requirements.

5. Shop Pay

Where available, you may use Shop Pay to complete your purchase.

Shop Pay can allow you to complete checkout using payment, contact and delivery information securely saved to your Shop Pay account.

Shop Pay is provided by Shopify and is subject to Shopify's applicable terms and privacy practices.

6. PayPal

Where available at checkout, you may use PayPal to complete your purchase.

When you select PayPal, you may be redirected to PayPal to:

  • log in to your PayPal account;

  • select or confirm your funding source;

  • review the payment; and

  • authorise the transaction.

After completing the PayPal process, you will normally be returned to the Palm & Peach website.

PayPal may provide buyer-protection services subject to PayPal's own eligibility requirements, policies and terms.

7. Payment Authorisation

When you place an order, your payment method may be authorised or charged as part of the checkout process.

Payment authorisation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

After submitting an order, you will normally receive an email confirming that we have received it.

Your order is accepted in accordance with our Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before acceptance where permitted by law, including where:

  • payment cannot be authorised;

  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;

  • a product is unavailable;

  • there is an obvious pricing error;

  • delivery cannot reasonably be made; or

  • we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount due to you.

8. Payment Security

Payments made through our website are processed through Shopify and/or other payment providers using encrypted connections and industry-standard payment-security measures.

Palm & Peach does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details.

Payment information may instead be collected, processed and stored by Shopify, PayPal, your bank, card issuer or another payment provider involved in the transaction.

Those providers process information in accordance with their own security and privacy practices.

No method of electronic payment, storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Fraud Prevention and Verification

For the protection of our customers and our business, orders may be subject to security, fraud-prevention and payment-verification checks.

We or our payment providers may:

  • verify payment information;

  • compare billing and delivery information;

  • conduct fraud-risk assessments;

  • request additional authentication; or

  • decline or hold a transaction where suspicious activity is detected.

We may contact you if additional information is reasonably required to verify an order.

We will handle personal information used for these purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

10. Payment Declines

If your payment is declined, you may wish to:

  • check that the payment information entered is correct;

  • check that your billing details match those held by your bank or card issuer;

  • try another payment method; or

  • contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Palm & Peach may not receive detailed information explaining why a bank or payment provider declined a transaction.

A declined payment does not create an obligation for us to fulfil an order.

11. Pricing Errors

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, obvious pricing errors may occasionally occur.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may:

  • contact you and offer you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price; or

  • cancel the affected order.

We will not charge a higher corrected price without your agreement.

If an affected order is cancelled after payment has been taken, we will refund the payment due to you.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

12. Refunds

Refunds, returns and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, our Terms of Service and applicable consumer law.

Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by law.

Once Palm & Peach has issued a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on:

  • your bank;

  • card issuer;

  • PayPal;

  • Shopify;

  • digital wallet provider; or

  • other payment provider.

Processing times after a refund has been issued are outside our direct control.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe that there is a problem with a payment, order, return or refund, we encourage you to contact us at info@palmandpeach.com so that we can investigate the matter.

You may also have rights to raise a payment dispute or chargeback directly with your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Nothing in this Payment Policy limits any rights available to you under applicable law or under the rules of your payment provider.

14. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:

  • payment methods;

  • our checkout process;

  • our service providers;

  • our business practices; or

  • applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Any changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be updated.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to orders already placed.
